Synopsis
- This is a film on a travel to Poland by Helmut Brauer on the traces of his father. Helmut has the Photographies with him, that his father has made in Poland between 1933 and 1945 when he was the german evangelic priest of the little town Oborniki near Poznan.
Helmut follows the Invitation of the teacher Adam Malinski who is interested in the History of his hometown. What will Helmut find in the town where he was born in but did not grow up. How will the inhabitants react to the Pictures his father has taken before and during the war?
All the memories Helmut has of his early childhood are the lent memories of his father and his photographs. Will he find out something new?
