Synopsis
- In this documentary Mara Pelecis takes us on a unique journey through the psyche of Latvia. We travel through personal, political, spiritual and cultural stations of Latvian identity and meet with a rich diversity of people sharing their ideas on what it means to be Latvian today.
Based on interviews with over one hundred people including musicians, hockey fans, farmers, businessmen, and pensioners in the market. From Latvian President Vaira Vike ? Freiberga and business tycoon Aivars Lembergs, to Russian poet Sergei Timofeyev, all discussions stem from one question: What does it mean to be Latvian?
