FOR FILMMAKERS:
Filmmakers and organisations are welcome to use our technology in order to offer their films as VoD (Download-to-Own or Stream-to-Rent).
Everyone who owns the respective rights to a film can register for free and offer it from hundreds of different websites and blogs by using our embed codes.
When a customer buys a film, the purchase will always be conducted through the onlinefilm.org system, whereas the process can be observed and controlled by the rightholder of the film.
The onlinefilm.org system is based on the CultureBase technology developed by our partner kulturserver.de gGmbH ( http://ggmbh.kulturserver.de/ ) and provides you with numerous further possibilities next to selling your films as VoD.
Registration is for free!
The income generated by each film (minus sales tax/VAT) is then split between the right holder(s) (51%) and the ONLINEFILM AG and its partners (49 %).
Payment to a right holder is due as soon as 100,00 Euro have been earned with a film.

ONLINEFILM AG was founded in November 2000 by 122 authors and film producers as an open cooperation. Ever since its inception the team has put a special emphasis on expanding the extensive knowledge concerning the use of films in the internet. Focal attention was therefor given to underlying techniques, structures and business models as well as legal issues when dealing with the different forms of online dissemination.
The statutory purpose of ONLINEFILM AG is to develope and operate a database for audio-visual products.
The aim of ONLINEFILM AG is to create new sales and marketing opportunities for small and medium-sized independent film companies in order to keep them competitive in a rapidly changing market. Therefore solutions and business models are developed to enable them to offer high-quality movies over the internet or other digital networks as downloads or streams. It is the goal of ONLINEFILM AG to generate a new market for independently produced films.
