Our project ONLINEFILM.ORG is being realised with partners from the European Union. It is our aim to have partners in every country of the EU, partners who know about regional characteristics and thus make it possible to create a sub-portal specially tailored to each country.

The foundation kulturserver.de gGmbH developes, coordinates and supports cultural data networks. In addition to a great number of individual artists, a variety of partners such as theatres, film organizations, museums and other cultural institutions, make frequent use of the services the platform provides. To a common data pool, the CultureBase, users contribute specific event dates, repertoires, artists' biographies or movies. While the institutions can use the generated data for their own portals, kulturserver.de ensures the broad distribution of the entered data.

Eho Filma is a film production company established by film director and producer Janis Vingris. Apart from own film production Eho Filma has also served as a service provider for Werner Herzog’s film “Invincible”, Japanese television TBS and others.

Solisiú Films
(Donegal, Ireland)

Over the last 14 years, Soilsiú Film (formerly Vinegar Hill Productions) and owner/producer, David Rane, have produced many documentary films for national (RTÉ and TG4) and international (C4, ARTE, YLE) broadcasters, including the recent award-winning, Fairytale of Kathmandu (RTÉ), and a number of animated films, including the BAFTA-winning, Sir Gawain and the Green Knight (Channel 4 UK).

Soilsiú Films work has been seen on television and in cinemas across most of Europe and in the United States, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. Our projects are primarily funded by The Irish Film Board, RTÉ, TG4, and MEDIA, but we have also received support for our productions from European broadcasters, The Arts Council of Ireland, The Broadcast Commission of Ireland, Northern Ireland Screen, The Irish Language Broadcast Fund and others.

Docu Zone Austria

DocuZone Austria is an association for the digital promotion of the independent documentary film. In 2004 DocuZone was part of the consortium, supported by the MEDIA Pilot programme, that started the first international digital cinema open-source infrastructure with play-out centers in Amsterdam, Berlin and Vienna, called CinemaNet Europe.

DocuZone’s second activity (since 2008) is digital film distribution through online-services. We have created a pool of austrian rightholders, who we support with rights clearing, encoding, and databank feeding and together we created a digital catalogue for international sales to VoD platforms (like onlinefilm and iTunes). The documentaries are linked through www.dok.at.

DocLab S.r.l.
(Rome, Italy)

DocLab is a production company created in 1999, specialized in producing historical, scientific and wildlife documentaries for the Italian and international market. DocLab is born out of this long experience. DocLab is a company that promotes the online distribution of documentaries and films. It aims to involve and coordinate all Italian companies interested in taking part in an initiative that we believe will support audiovisual producers and authors.

TREMORA is an independent production company founded in 2005 by producer Ieva Norvilienė and director Ignas Miškinis. Both have gained professional experience in advertising, short and feature film production and distribution during many years. With international contacts on board TREMORA can effectively collaborate on interesting and original film co-productions. TREMORA is a new generation, dynamic company. Its strategy is to break provincial and self-close chains of the national market, explore advanced ideas - as they are the basis for any good project - and point them to an international market.

Filmgalerie 451 produces, distributes and publishes films which take risks regarding form and content. Many of the directors working with us are outsiders in film business, who seek their innovative ways off the beaten track. Among them are "classics" of German cinema like Werner Schroeter and Roland Klick, experiments by Christoph Schlingensief and Heinz Emigholz, as well as young cinema by Ulrich Köhler, Angela Schanelec, Robert Schwentke and the films of the Filmgalerie 451 founders Irene von Alberti and Frieder Schlaich.

The KurzFilmAgentur Hamburg (KFA) is an association which has devoted itself to promoting and improving the public awareness of short films. It operates a theatrical distribution service for short film, negotiates worldwide licensing rights, maintains a short film database linked to an extensive video archive, sets up training and education courses and organizes film-related projects with national and international co-partners. Every year the Agency also hosts and runs the Hamburg International Short Film Festival. Moreover it gets involved in the political arena through its lobby work for creators and users of short film. KFA is one of the most important institutions of its kind in Germany.

As a network for existing platforms and websites, reelisor offers guidance and information throughout the whole year, conveys expertise and contacts, offers insight into current productions and company profiles, links documentary filmmakers, commissioning editors, production companies, festivals, markets and other initiatives active in the industry.

Dokfest München

DOK.fest Munich has developed into a renowned audience festival that feels obliged to focus on artistic documentary films for their social relevance and value.
The new VoD page is supposed to bring together filmmakers, films and film festivals and also to bring an audience to the films outside the festival days.

CarribeanTales

CaribbeanTales Worldwide Distribution was launched in Barbados (May 2010) and is the first of its kind film distribution company in the English speaking Caribbean.

The Centre for Visual Anthropology is based in the Anthropology Department of Goldsmiths, University of London.
