Synopsis
- "Chechnya, No Politics" this is how we would like to call the film about experiences in this hot spot of the Caucuses. It records the lives of simple people met during three trips to the war devastated country that despite everything has maintained its self-respect and still honours its traditions. Things seen by director Aija Bley, scriptwriter Elvita Ruka, cameramen Agris Birzulis and Uldis Jancis dispel negative stereotypes and make us admire the enduring morale and dignity of the nation that has undergone so much suffering.
