Synopsis
- Betrayal, lost honour, guilt and atonement, passionate, transcendental love, a yearning for death and forgetting… the story of Tristan and Isolde, developed over centuries from a Celtic folk tale into a mythical saga, has fascinated writers, poets and musicians alike.
