He filmed the everyday life under german occupation in the small, rural, polish village. He filmed, the market place, the streets, the people, the Synagogue that was used as a horse stable by the German Wehrmacht at the time, the fugitives from other polish cities that passed over the river Warte on a provisional wooden bridge, built by German pioneers and the old iron bridge that had been blown up before by the polish army to hinder the german troups to progress. He filmed dayly life in the barracks, forced labourers and peasants in the fields. No atrocities, nothing special, just everyday life in Poland during occupation time just two month after the Germans had invaded Poland.
