Synopsis
- TOTEM shows a family's routine spinning out of control with the arrival of a stranger.
A young woman called Fiona shows up in a city in the Ruhr region to work for the Bauer family as a housekeeper. Mr. and Mrs. Bauer and their children all live their own lives, they coexist without communicating with each other. They fail to realize that Fiona has made a devastating decision. Only the Bauer family's neighbor starts to suspect that something might be wrong.
