What am I allowed to do with the downloaded film?
19.12.2007
If you are purchasing and downloading a film from onlinefilm.org, you have the same rights as if you have bought a DVD for home use in a regular shop. You may watch it at home, alone or with your friends and family as often as you like. You may make safety copies of it on CD or DVD or any other medium.
But you may not share copies with anyone, except your inner circle of friends and family (not the whole school yard or your health club etc.) You may not show it in public neither for free nor against payment also not in schools. You may also not upload and publish it on the Internet in anyway , not even clips from it. If you plan to do any of the above, please seek permission from the owner before you do so, it will help you to avoid trouble. You will find him or her in the credits of the film, just click on the name to find the contact data, if that does not work, we at onlinefilm.org will gladly help you to get in contact with the person in charge.
Please stick to the digital rights fair trade principle, filmmakers have to live too, you know.
