Synopsis
- The young and pretty Manon who leaves her lover Des Grieux unhesitatingly in order to live with the rich though unloved Geronte possesses such a boundless tendency for luxurious dissipation that she finally sacrifices her personal happiness, even her life for the pleasures of life.
